Can permanently attached the battery grip bg2n (no power supply or battery) to camera body?

I was wondering if we can attached the battery grip all the time to camera body without detaching it after used.

Yes, it won’t hurt it. In fact, I always kept my battery grips attached when I had a D30 and 20D and I never saw any issue with keeping them attached. I keep them attached to my 40D and 5D without a thought. The main reason, is that the camera stores better with it attached. The only time I detach them is when I truly just need to carry as little as possible.
