Canon® Powershot® Blue Digital Camera Bundle with Case SD960 IS?

i want to buy a new camera, i was looking at this Canon one, is it a good camera to get as my first camera? thank-you in advance.

Yes, it is an excellent camera, however, I have to recommend the Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. ($199 at Amazon) It has one feature that other brands do not, an optical viewfinder in addition to the LCD. LCD viewfinders just don’t work well in broad daylight. If you are going to take pictures outdoors, you should consider getting a camera with an optical viewfinder. It comes in red, black, silver or gold.
