How can I convert MVI videos to Quick time?

I bought a new Cannon digital camera, and Proshow Gold Producer for slide shows, but my videos are not compatible with Proshow Gold. I need to convert all films to Quicktime movies.

first download STOIK video converter (free)

http://www.stoik.com/products/svc/

you need to change the mvi file exstention to avi something.avi (no need to worry as its still a mvi file).

Select the input file (the avi file you named)
The Output file C:/ {and choose a location}
OutPut file type {set to Quicktime}

then the file should be re-encoded to Quicktime, and you can also encode to other formats, just select the different options from the Output file type
