I own a Kodak Easy Share 5.0 mega pixel camera, the lens broke – how much will it cost to repair?

someone sat on the lens and it has been pushed back. now when i turn the camera on, it does not extend, but turns it self off.

how much will the repair cost.

New 8.0 megapixel Kodak-brand digital cameras cost 100$ US. The only way to get a repair done would be to send it out to Kodak of Australia or a company-authorized third-party repair depo. Costs could easily exceed the 100$ to replace, not to mention the value of having a new camera with a fresh warranty and extra features.
