Minolta Dimage

I am trying to locate and purchase a minolta dimage z6 digital camera, need to be able to warrantee it. cheap?

Have found prices ranging from $349-$220…can you advise of a better deal?

The only caveat I would offer is that Minolta/Konica have dropped their entire camera line. Which I thought was a real shame, since they had a number of quite good cameras that were very good values. I’m not familiar with the Z6 offhand, though. I was mostly debating between a Minolta, a Panasonic Lumix and a Canon. Sony’s stuff has been getting better, but they use Sony’s proprietary memory card format.

If you aren’t too worried about how well the warranty will be supported, the Minoltas may be a very good deal. Minolta has promised to honor all warranties on cameras it has already produced. But those sort of promises have been known to change. Just be aware !
